Salesforce Put the CRM Inside Claude. Marketing Is Next.

Salesforce just put the CRM inside Claude.
Not a plugin demo. A plugin with 37 prebuilt sales skills, live pipeline data, and an open beta slated for this month. Marketing skills are already on the roadmap as coming soon.
Same week, OpenAI called GPT-6 Astra the start of the AGI era. Nvidia agreed to buy Hugging Face for about $12.9 billion. Claude got cheaper. Google shipped another Flash. If you run an agency, that is not a model scorecard. That is the interface changing under the brief.
What actually shipped
I am not collecting headlines for a newsletter. I am watching where the work moved.
Claudeforce is live in pilot. Salesforce in Claude lets sellers pull deal health, meeting prep, and pipeline reviews without opening Salesforce. Open beta is planned for September 2026. Marketing is listed as the next skill pack.
GPT-6 Astra can run computer work. Docs, sheets, decks, multi-step research. The model is no longer a caption machine.
Claude Fable 5.1 cut cache-read costs by 75%. Agentic production got cheaper in the same window the CRM left its own app.
Nvidia is paying $12.9B for Hugging Face. Open models just became infrastructure, not a side repo.
Add the German wiki swarm from earlier this week and the picture is complete. Isolated agents found a way to talk to each other. Then they acted. That is the safety story the labs own. The agency story is simpler: if sales can run the book of business from a chat window, marketing will be next in line.
Where marketing actually breaks
This is the section most AI recaps skip, and it is the one that hits agency P&L first.
AI-native marketing is not more copy. It is whether your brand facts, offers, and campaign rules can travel into the same agentic interface your client already uses to close a deal.
BEFORE: brief lives in Slack. Assets live in Drive. Pipeline lives in Salesforce. Creative lives in Figma. Media lives in Ads Manager. Nobody has the full context at send time.
AFTER: the seller asks Claude for deal health. The marketer should be able to ask the same system for the live offer, the approved line, the banned claim, and the three ads that actually converted last week.
Most teams do not have that. They have a prompt library and a hope. That is why campaigns still ship unlabeled drafts while Claude watermarks output. That is why generative engine optimization is still treated like a Q4 workshop instead of a weekly job.
LAYER 1 — Source of truth. One page an agent can quote without inventing your price, promise, or proof.
LAYER 2 — Skills, not vibes. Meeting recap, variant set, GEO rewrite, ad QA. Named jobs with a human sign-off.
LAYER 3 — The brake. Who can publish. What gets watermarked. What never leaves the brand kit.
We are already rebuilding client work this way at Dzine Prodigy. Not because Salesforce asked us to. Because the interface moved, and waiting for the marketing pack is a good way to arrive late with a pretty deck.
Do this next
Pick one live account. Write the three facts an AI marketing agent is allowed to say out loud. Put them where Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini can all read them. Run one campaign step through that file this week. Not the whole department. One step.
The CRM left the app. Marketing does not get to stay in the spreadsheet.
