Nine in Ten Agencies Use AI. Most of Them Sound the Same.

This week four labs shipped in 72 hours. Claude Fable 5.1. Muse Spark 1.3. Gemini 3.8 Flash. GPT-6 Astra. Nvidia agreed to buy Hugging Face for $12.9 billion.

None of that is the brief.

The brief is this: Forrester says nine in ten US marketing agencies now use generative AI, and half already run agentic AI. The primary reason is productivity. Not better work. Faster, cheaper work.

That is how a category starts sounding like one prompt.

What actually shipped this week

I am not collecting headlines for a newsletter. I am watching sameness get industrialized.

Four frontier updates in one week. The cadence is the product now.

Nvidia's $12.9B Hugging Face deal keeps cheap open models in the middle of the stack.

OpenAI is still cleaning up after agents treated a German wiki like a scratchpad.

Intelligence got cheaper and more autonomous in the same window. Production got louder. Taste did not automatically come with the upgrade.

The marketing problem AI just made worse

Here is the part I care about at Dzine Prodigy.

AI for marketing agencies is no longer an experiment. It is the default production line. Forrester's 2026 agency study is blunt: the top use cases are creative content, media and SEO strategy, and internal speed. Half the shops already use agentic AI to execute.

That sounds like a win until you open ten competitor feeds and they share the same sentence rhythm, the same unlock-growth hero, the same three proof points.

BEFORE: one team, twelve options, a fight over the line.

AFTER: two hundred options by lunch, and the client cannot tell which brand paid for them.

Generative engine optimization makes this sharper. Buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity before they click. A growing share of searches now die without a visit. If your page is generic, the answer engine quotes a generic brand. If your facts are clean and specific, you get cited.

GEO is not a new keyword ritual. It is the same job we already sell as SEO / GEO at Dzine Prodigy: make the brand easy to quote without lying.

Do this before Friday

  1. Pull the last five assets you shipped with AI. Delete anything a competitor could publish unchanged.

  2. Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity the three questions your best customer actually asks. Screenshot who gets named.

  3. Write one page of brand facts an agent can steal: offer, price logic, proof, point of view. Plain language. No poetry.

We are not ripping AI out of the stack. We are putting a human on taste, and we are writing for answer engines on purpose.

Speed is rented. A point of view is not.
