Siri AI Just Shipped. Voice Is Now a Media Channel.
Siri AI just shipped with iOS 27.
Apple rebuilt the assistant as a real conversation, trained it with Gemini, and dropped it onto a home-screen app. Apple says people already make more than two and a half billion Siri requests a day. That is not a gadget refresh. That is a new answer engine sitting in the pocket your client already paid for.
Most marketing teams will treat this like another Siri can set a timer headline.
Wrong read.
What actually shipped
iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 Golden Gate landed today. Siri AI is the marquee. It lives as its own app. It keeps conversation history across devices. It can see what is on the screen, pull context from mail and photos, and hand hard questions to Claude or ChatGPT if those apps are installed. The heavier on-device model sits on the newest iPhones. English first. Hindi is not on the Siri AI language list yet.
Apple did not ship Gemini at runtime. It used Gemini to train the thing. That is the partnership most recaps bury.
Marketing and AI: the brief changed
Voice is now a media channel.
If a buyer asks Siri who to hire, where to stay, or which brand is safe, you either show up in the spoken answer or you do not exist. Same job as generative engine optimization. Different surface.
LAYER 1 — Write the sentence Siri can say out loud.
Short offer. One proof. One next step. No hero-paragraph homepage.
LAYER 2 — Make the page agent-readable.
Pricing, claims, and contact that a voice assistant can quote without inventing them.
LAYER 3 — Test the ask this week.
Stand in the office. Ask Siri the question your client thinks they own. Record the answer. That is the audit.
We are running it that way at Dzine Prodigy. The model is rented. The spoken sentence is owned.
Do this before Friday
Pick one live client.
Write the 12-word answer you want Siri to give.
Publish it on a page an assistant can cite.
Ask the phone, not the dashboard.
Siri AI just shipped.
Your media plan still talks to screens.
